Chabad of Porta Romana is a warm and welcoming center of Jewish life in one of Milan’s most dynamic and historic districts. Located near the center of the city, and in just 15 minutes walk from the Bocconi university, our community offers opportunities for learning, connection, and spiritual growth for local families, international students, and Jewish visitors alike.
We are based in the Beth Shlomo Synagogue, founded shortly after WWII by Holocaust survivors. The synagogue continues to carry their legacy, housing the Aron HaKodesh from the Ferramonti concentration camp along with many other treasured historical items. This adds meaning to every visit, creating a truly unique and inspiring experience.
